After several years of suffering from lower back pain, I finally took the plunge and visited Dr Govenar for a solution.
Sitting for more than a few minutes was a problem and began to affect my work. I needed a solution and a good one that would last.
My boss suggested to me that solution. He and his wife (amoungst others on our workforce) were already very happy clients of Dr. Govenar.
Once a baseline for my condition was established, a plan of action was laid out and I began that road to recovery. It didn’t take long before I realized relief and how to maintain it. While under his guidance I learned quickly how and why I was experiencing this annoying discomfort that I had adapted to. Wow, what an amazing transformation for me and my life thanks to Whole Health. I firmly believe a better and friendly environment to resolve issues like the ones I battled for years does NOT exist. Surgery and drugs? Sorry, I’ll pass on that approach. Dr. Govenar? In a San Diego heartbeat!

The funny thing about back pain is how you adjust to it and live with it. My back hurt for 15 years and I just adapted. I couldn’t turn my neck at all. I had to turn my whole body, even in the car to see sideways and behind me. I tried everything from massage to acupuncture which was great and certainly helped; in fact, it was my acupuncturist who suggested I see a chiropractor for a little snap. That is when Dr. Govenar asked, if instead of relieving the symptoms, how would I like to fix my back? He reversed the damage and the curvature while educating me on what was happening and how to live a pain-free life. My pain was severe but the relief was immediate. It is a commitment and a lot of time but Whole Health is an excellent place to do this work. I look forward to coming here and everyone is so nice and accommodating. I know Dr. Govenar is as committed to my recovery as I am. It is great to have someone on your side in such an important process.

was a little distrustful and a lot scared to go to a chiropractor. I have always tried to ignore the usual lower back pain, stiff neck and aching shoulders. These came and went, got better and worse and I just sort of got used to having some sort of pain all the time.
I had known Danny for a long time and thought he was very intelligent ( he does the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle!), trustworthy and kind; I had recommended him to my friends. But, I was not a good candidate for chiropractic care because I was in denial, scared , and impatient
